About Me
Hello, my name is Rhys Pepino. I have held an interest in music since I was very young. My mom was a percussionist all through high school and at college at Augustana University, she is what sparked my interest in music. The first instrument that I fell in love with was the saxophone. In fourth grade, I knew from the minute that I heard a successful saxophonist play, that was I wanted to do. Starting in fifth grade, in Hamilton, Illinois, I began to learn the saxophone. I continued to play through the entirety of my tenure in the Oswego Schooling system, including playing in the Jazz Band throughout Junior High School and having my own feature piece in the eighth grade. I enjoy playing the Tenor Sax very much and often play at casual family gatherings.
